Cross is an ex-cop with a bad reputation fallen on hard times. While working his current gig, providing security for Chun Fat Lin’s underground casino the place is hit by triad gangsters flying high on “firefly,” a drug so hot addicts are prone to spontaneously combusting. Now the Mayor’s campaign manager has turned up dead in the joint and Cross is finding himself wrapped up in something really dirty— politics.
